On a professional level I’m always looking to get past the market noise to find the constant that will reveal itself through the test of time. By focusing on identifying tectonic thematic shifts in the implications of climate change; global security (including public health); and ground-breaking technologies that provide solutions to economic problems I’ve discovered game changing investment opportunities that make the world a better place.
For the past 35+ years I’ve worked with 13D Research & Strategy where I’ve been actively involved in the identification, development, and analysis of many of the firm’s core global investment themes. My dedication to the truth and an ability to see beyond the trends has helped me to be instrumental in driving the growth of the company. When I’m not researching you’ll likely find me playing in the great outdoors with my family—skiing in the winter, hiking and biking in the summer. No matter the season, my mornings always start before the sun with a stick of incense and a daily devotional yoga practice, which I believe helps me to be receptive to new ideas no matter how crazy they may seem.
